Santa Monica, CA (September 28, 2009)--The upcoming 40th anniversary of the debut album release by King Crimson is being commemorated by a unique recording project, The Human Experimente.
The iconic rock anthem "21st Century Schizoid Man" has been re-recorded by The Human Experimente to mark the 40th anniversary of the October 12, 1969 release of King Crimson's first album, In the Court of the Crimson King, on which it was originally included. The Human Experimente, founded by Emmy Award-winning musician, composer and executive producer Jeffrey Fayman and based in Santa Monica, CA, also includes such guest artists as King Crimson founder and guitarist Robert Fripp and vocalist Maynard Keenan of Tool and Puscifer.
Fayman has long felt that King Crimson's debut album presented a musical style that defined progressive rock. For Fayman, that album and "21st Century Schizoid Man" created a benchmark marriage of incredibly complex technical playing, visual poetry, political and sociological messages, all combined within an unbridled and highly inspired creative expression.
