Mountain View, CA (February 8, 2010)--Frank Perricone's Bear Jam Music project studio snowballed into a personal recording studio with a a 16-fader Euphonix System 5-MC.
"It all started when I wanted to build a project studio to work on music for myself and my friends," said musician and songwriter Frank Perricone, who is located in Long Beach, CA. "It needed to be professional but homey, so I basically converted part of the guesthouse into a project studio. I wanted my clients to also be my guests, that way, they were welcome to play and record at their leisure and be able stay here so they could work freely and comfortably."
In the end, Perricone spared no expense. The "project studio" was designed and wired by industry veterans Bob Hodas and Paul J. Cox respectively, and includes a separate iso booth with a live HD streaming video feed rather than the typical glass window. Bear Jam's control room consists of a 16-fader Euphonix System 5-MC integrated digital audio workstation controller with EuCon protocol to control Logic Pro, Perricone's favorite application. The control surface also connects to two 30-in. Apple Cinema Displays, and his Apogee Rosetta 800 audio interface due to Apogee's Maestro support of EuCon.
