Northeim, Germany (February 9, 2010)--Gunter Pauler's Stockfisch Records recently purchased a Studer Vista 5 mixing console for the label's in-house production facility, Pauler Acoustics.
After the first recording sessions, Pauler remarked, "The aural characteristics of this desk are outstanding; the Vista 5 delivers soft transparency, with a spatial resolution that I have never experienced before on a digital desk. What particularly inspires me is that on every channel there is a parallel compressor, which in its control mode stands comparison with the best-known American analogue compressors."
