Audio Vet Partners with Promo Post Shop

New York City (October 23, 2003)--Promo production powerhouse Editional Effects has joined forces with seasoned audio designer/engineer Roy Harter to bring in-house a "concept to completion" audio services division, that, in turn, keeps clients from outsourcing their sound needs. As the new co-partner for the audio division, Harter brings a stable of loyal clientele to round out this creative "all-in-one" video/audio production facility. Prior to joining Editional Effects, Harter spent seven years with Clack/Hothead Studios as one of its audio engineers and sound designers. Of his myriad accomplishments, Harter composed and engineered all the music for the Noggin Children's Network's re-launch. His sound design and mixing also helped make Nickelodeon's special, Rugrats All Growed Up, become the highest-rated children's program in television history.

Realizing he wanted more control over his career, Harter struck up discussions with Editional Effects founder and senior editor, Mike Gutowitz, about the possibility of joining forces. The two had been collaborating for years, servicing each other's clients' video and audio needs.

Harter and Gutowitz are quick to point out the immediate client benefits Editional Effects has to offer: "We are different because it's one-stop shopping for clients in the promo world," said Harter. "It is not unusual for clients to finish their video at one facility and then hoof it to another house for audio sweetening. Here we have married the two, which I believe greatly enhances the creative process and therefore the end result."

An Avid Unity hosting 4.5 terabytes of storage networks two Avid Media Composer and two Avid Symphony suites plus two audio suites running fully loaded Digidesign ProTools HD3 with A/V option. Editional Effects also provides four full-service Mac design, animation and compositing workstations.
