Telarc Releases Classical SACD Sampler 2

Cleveland, OH (October 23, 2003)--Telarc has released its second SACD Classical Sampler. The purpose of the sampler is to give consumers a selection of classical music presented in surround sound. Like all of Telarc's SACDs, Classical SACD Sampler II is a hybrid disc, meaning it can be played on all CD players.

The sampler SACD features music from some of Telarc's more popular classical SACD releases. Highlights include Purcell's "Rondeau" from Abdelazer with the Empire Brass Quintet; and organist William Kuhlman's Baroque Music for Brass and Organ; Christopher Theofanidis' Rainbow Body; "Parade of the Charioteers" from Ben Hur with Erich Kunzel and the Cincinnati Pops Orchestra; and Handel's "La Rejouissance" from Music for the Royal Fireworks with Boston Baroque, among others.
