Meyer Sound Appoints Latin American Regional Sales Manager

Berkeley, CA (October 24, 2003)--Meyer Sound Laboratories has appointed Juan Carlos Yepes as sales manager for Central and South America, and the Caribbean. Yepes is an industry veteran, having worked in professional audio for 17 years, including being front-of-house mixer for Grammy-winning artist Carlos Vives since 1994, and a stint in sales at Abba Trading of Fort Lauderdale, FL. The move is intended to emphasize the significance Meyer Sound ascribes to the Latin American market.

A native of Maracaibo, Venezuela, Yepes will be handling sales of Meyer Sound products, facilitating product demonstrations, and providing design assistance and technical support throughout the Latin American region from his office in Weston, FL. Yepes will work to increase Meyer Sound's presence in Latin America, which he feels has yet to gain a full understanding of the company's approach. I want to do educational seminars to inform people as to why Meyer Sound is their best choice."

Yepes will work in conjunction with Antonio Zacarias of Meyer Sound Mexico, sales director for Latin America.
