NTI AG Appoints Mintner for NTI-Americas

Schaan, FL (October 29, 2003)--NTI AG, manufacturer of audio-measurement equipment, has appointed Thomas E. Mintner as general manager of NTI-Americas, a new consolidated Americas sales organization for NTI instruments.

Mintner is a well-known industry veteran, bringing a combination of technical expertise and commercial experience to the newly created position. Although recently involved in test instrument design for large-scale System-On-Chip semiconductor IC testers, he has previously held a variety of senior-level management and sales positions at Neve and Studer, and was a longtime key employee and part owner of audio test and measurement company, Audio Precision.

"As we expand our Americas operation, Tom brings an incredible breadth of knowledge and experience to the NTI organization," commented Philipp Schwizer, CEO of NTI AG. "His experience in test and measurement, audio, video and computer multimedia literally spans the entire range from silicon IC to a finished hardware or DVD software product. He will be responsible for integrating our existing distribution resources and for building NTI-Americas to expand the market reach of NT Instruments."

Mintner will be based at NTI-Americas' new Portland, OR office, but will also be actively working with the distribution channels in the field, as well as through the existing Montreal, Canada NTI facility. His formal training was at Northwestern University in music and acoustics, and he is a member of the AES, IEEE and the National Academy of Recording Arts & Sciences.
