NTI Expands Americas Distribution

New York City (October 31, 2003)--NTI AG, manufacturer of audio measurement equipment, has created NTI Americas, a new organization for the distribution of its products in North America as well as Central and South America. The new organization is to be headed by audio and test industry veteran Thomas E. Mintner.

NTI, whose product lines include the Minstrument handheld audio test instruments as well as the Rapid-Test/PureSound speaker analyzer and A1/A2 analyzer products, will both integrate and expand its North American distribution channels around one organization serving all of the Americas.
The new NTI-Americas organization will incorporate the existing NTI-North America operation in Montreal and add a new U.S. office in Portland, OR for management, sales and support.

Distribution support for the Minstruments line will be transitioned from Neutrik USA to the new organization, while retaining the current distributors. Representation and administration for the larger A1/A2 and Rapid-Test instruments will remain the same, including continuing support from the Montreal office and Susan Imeson.

Philipp Schwizer, CEO of NTI AG, commented, "With this expansion, NTI will move forward with its own complete organization for supporting end-users, distributors and representatives in the Americas. Starting immediately, and throughout the fall of 2003, you will see increased activity and a few changes, as we rationalize distribution and sales to increase market presence for both our users and sales partners."
