Last year in Pro Sound News, we ran a story in our end-of-year issue, Stuffing A Roadie's Stocking, which was full of ideas of what to get a live sound guy for the Holidays. Some of the ideas were useful and others were just goofy fun, but all of them fit the road life, as it were. The story was such a hit that we're doing it again in our December, 2008 issue, but we want to get your ideas here, too. What's something affordable that you plan to give? What are you hoping to get?

Hi, I would like to give a shout out to all the significant others who spend many days and nights alone all year and over the holiday season whether it is the road dog on the road or the partner at home raking the leaves and shovelling the snow. Many road dogs, if they are as busy as mine, miss Thanksgiving dinners, trimming the Christmas tree, hanging out together on New Year's Eve. Time off would be nice not spent on advancing future shows. A new piece of luggage because we go through them like crazy, on-time arrivals and departures at airports, oh and maybe a bonus!

Q-Box

Headlamp

Multitool (like a leatherman)

Multi-tester (like the Swiz Army)

Gloves (for the push)

A good knife, or several crappy ones

Sharpies

Starbucks gift card

...this is what first came to mind.
