UAPB offers a B.S. in Music with an emphasis in sound recording technology. As aninstitutional member of SPARS, additional credentials are available through a SPARS Recording Test. Degree course work iscomposed of general studies, music, and recording and technology. Recording courses utilize the 24-track digital tape and harddisk-based production facility with six sound rooms, hard disk-based post-production suite, video post workstation, and PC-basedMIDI/digital audio workstations. Full semester internship at a professional audio facility completed prior to graduation.
