East Rutherford, NJ (March 29, 2007)--Masque Sound has created a new division focused on providing sound reinforcement, wireless and acoustic consultation and installation for the House Of Worship community.  Paul Klimson, a veteran live-sound and recording engineer with extensive HOW credentials will serve as technical director. Courtney (Mrs. Paul) Klimson has been named director of Marketing for the new division.

Masque Sound HOW division technical director Paul Klimson and director of Marketing Courtney Klimson with company co-principal Geoff Shearing.
"When Paul Klimson joined our team last year, his technical and management skills were immediately apparent," said Masque co-principle Geoff Shearing. "His recent resolution of a challenging acoustic issue for the Arcadia (CA) Presbyterian Church crystallized our decision to form a dedicated HOW division."

As sound team leader for The Journey Church in the Grand Ballroom of NYC's venerable Manhattan Center, Klimson managed a crew of four engineers.  His responsibilities included FOH and monitor engineering as well as gear purchase, rental and maintenance.  An audio professional since attending Greenville College and graduating from The Recording Workshop of Ohio, Klimson has served as recording and mix engineer for a number of regional artists and labels, including Relient K (Capitol Records), the O.C. Supertones (BEC Records) and Pax 217 (ForeFront Records), and as production manager/mix engineer for Tanya Tucker, Inc. (Nashville). He was a staff engineer at Emerald Studios (Nashville) and night manager of The Sound Kitchen (Franklin, TN).  While in-house engineer/CA for NY's Michael Whalen Music, he collaborated on film & TV projects for such clients as Martha Stewart, The History Channel, ABC News and Warner Bros. He has engineered church sound productions since the age of 10.

After graduating with a Degree in Media Promotion from Greenville College, Courtney Klimson served three years, including one as executive director, with the Agape Christian Music Festival a regional Illinois event.  In 2003, she joined EMI CMG (Christian Music Group) in Nashville, TN as manager of Brand Marketing and Catalog Development.  She moved to NYC in 2004 as assistant director for Joan Whalen Fine Art where she spearheaded marketing initiatives. Courtney and Paul Klimson first met as teens in the Greenville, IL Free Methodist Church.  Both their mothers are Pastors.

"Masque Sound has provided consultation, wireless technology and speaker installation for HOWs in the past, including a major install for Manhattan's famed Times Square Church," said Shearing, "but projects came in through recommendation; we've never marketed our services to the Houses Of Worship sector. Paul Klimson's success with Arcadia Church, coupled with his and Courtney's personal backgrounds, signaled an opportunity to provide a genuine service to this increasingly important sector.

The Masque Sound HOW Division is located at 21 East Union Ave. East Rutherford, NJ.
